Indian Spicy Roti



2 cups – wheat flour
1/2 cup – warm milk
1 tsp – cumin seeds
1 tsp – fennel seeds
1/4 tsp – ajwain seeds (carom seeds)
1/4 tsp – pepper powder
1/4 tsp – garam masala ( or curry powder )
A few springs of cilantro leaves, chopped
Salt to taste

How to Make Indian Spicy Roti

Combine the flour with the spice and salt.
Add the cilantro leaves and mix well.
Add milk and a little water to knead it into a pliable dough.
It should neither be too soft and sticky nor too hard.
Keep it aside for 15 minutes and then divide the dough into small rounds.
Flatten them into a circular shape (or any shape you desire) by using a rolling pin on a floured surface.
Turn when brown spots start appearing. Cook further for another 3-5 minutes.
Serve hot, plain or with a little butter with any side dish made of gravy like channa masala etc.
