Sweet Steamed Idlis



2 cups – rice
1 cup – urad dal
Rice and Urad Dal to be in the proportion 2:1
powdered sugar
powdered elaichi
dry fruits (badam, pista, walnut, cashew and dates)

How to Make Sweet Steamed Idlis

Soak 2 cups of rice and 1 cup of urad dal for four hours.
Use a wet grinder to grind this (like for normal idlis) add powdered sugar (as per your taste), powdered cardamom (elaichi) and grind well. Leave it to ferment for a few hours.
Pour the batter in the idli plates (after smearing oil on the idly plate), add dry fruits to each idli and steam for 15 mins.
Remove soft fluffy sweet idlis and serve.
